Pompey Chakravarty

Books. One would think the age of the internet would have long killed the habit of reading, but I believe there is still a whole bunch of us who prefer holding a book to a Kindle! The whiff of old books when you walk into a bookstore or a library always makes me nostalgic and brings back a lot of beautiful childhood memories. And out of those memories, the fondest one was of my mother's kitchen cabinet, that was filled with books. Cookbooks. Italian cooking, baking, mithais and snacks and then again more baking!

I do remember some of those titles, others not so much; which brings us to today's topic!
