About Chef Meghna & Meghna’s Food Magic

Chef Meghna is a banker turned baker, TEDx speaker, Food Blogger and social media influencer; Her social handle Meghna’s Food Magic has millions of followers across platforms. Having won Living Foodz Epicurean Guild Award as the Food Instagrammer of the year, Meghna is quite popular for her teaching methodology - making complicated appearing dishes look simple to make for her viewers & beautiful cakes and desserts. Her mission is to promote home-cooked food the first choice for all viewers who love dining out - by helping prepare food from accessible & affordable ingredients for which we otherwise pay the premium at restaurants.

About the session:

Chef Meghna started her culinary journey by making designer fondant cakes and supplying door to door and running classes. On 31st Oct., 12.30 noon, She will be teaching two basic fondant cakes for beginners.

Learn how to make two different types of Fondant Cakes from Chef Meghna:

1. How to make fondant at home (Ingredient list will be sent two days before the session)

2. Basics Fondant cake: How to roll fondant & cover the cake (Basic cutter image will be sent to you two days before the session). How to use the basic cutter in decorating the cake. From one basic cutter, you will be able to make various designs.

3. Basic Fondant designer cake & gift wrap cake: You will be taught 2 types of cakes - basic fondant designer cake & gift wrap cake. (Cake recipe will be sent two days before the session, please keep the cake ready as the focus will be on teaching fondant work and cake decoration)

This session will be helpful to those who want to learn basic fondant work but are unable to attend classes as these classes are generally very expensive. And for those who want to start or add designer cakes to their baking business. You will be able to learn basic techniques and concepts about fondant cakes.

This is a basic fondant cake class, and hence focus is on learning the basic technics and making simpler cakes using minimum tools.
